Rednesday Wednesday #4

Welcome Everyone to the 4th Rednesday
Oh Boy! Today is a busy Redsnesday. 

First order of business is to announce the winner of my Rednesday Wednesday Giveaway.
Since it is the Halloween season I decided it purrrrfect that the Random Picker would  be..........
Monkey.....I realize he isn't black, but he is a cat.....and my 'Werewolf'
was gonna do it, but, realize you can't control a werewolf,...he ate the entrant papers 8-/

I have to apologize for all the supernatural references, but it is the season  I can't help myself.

Ghastly Goblin Grins recipe

pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup  packed brown sugar

1/2

tsp.  vanilla

2

large  apples, cut into quarters

1/4

cup  PLANTERS Slivered Almonds

make it



BEAT cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Add sugar and vanilla;
 mix well.

CUT thin wedge in peel side of each apple piece; fill with 1 tsp. 
cream cheese mixture. Insert 4 to 6 nuts in cream cheese mixture
 in each apple to resemble teeth.
SPOON remaining cream cheese mixture into serving bowl. 
Serve with apples for dipping.

SUBSTITUTE
Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese.
KEEPING IT SAFE
Store any leftovers in covered container in refrigerator.

cups  boiling water

pkg.  (6 oz.) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin

1

qt.  (4 cups) boiling apple juice

8

 cinnamon sticks

make it



ADD boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until 
completely dissolved.

STIR in juice.
SERVE in mugs with cinnamon sticks.

COOKING KNOW-HOW
When measuring liquid ingredients, such as milk, water, juice or
oil, use a glass or plastic measuring cup with a pour spout. Place
the measuring cup on a level surface, then bend down so your
 eye is even with the measuring line. Slowly fill the cup to the
correct line.
Oh! Before you leave don't forget to make a copy of this weeks
