Special delivery to BG Cabin

Boy were we surprised when the Stork made a delivery BG Cabin...............................................

as a matter of fact, we didn't even know we were expecting! No, we are certain we were not expecting.
Now we realize most Cabins need a Dog and/or a couple of cats. We have the dog thing covered, but 3 years ago he did this to us...leaving 9 kittens in our yard.. The only problem was 3 were hairless and their eyes weren't open yet...only hours old.....while 3 were a week old...and 3 others 2 weeks

I was afraid Shadow was making sure if they were ripe yet, but to my astonishment..LOL... he constantly
checked up on them..I think telling them things....he'd sit for long periods like this just looking.
They, the 6, are now his Kittencaboodle...the 3 only hours old didn't make it...they didn't have a chance.

Today he left just one.

I took these shots while he slept so the flash wouldn't bother his eyes. He seems to a week old...maybe a few more days that that...just starting a wobbling walk.  Shadow has been eyeing him and The Kittencaboodle are not thrilled ...we've explained he has been left by mistake and we have to find him his 'Forever' home. He can't stay.

So, for now he is sitting on my lap as I post waiting for his next feeding....this is gonna be a loooong night.
Okay, this is gonna be hard in the morning
Well, I guess I'm gonna be going over to Etsy Cottage Style Blogspot for the
Welcome to the Cottage Craft Room and to
Create with Joy for Inspire Me Monday

I have blamed this little lost kitten on the Stork, but as I have said this has happened before...sigh...it's heart wrenching to think people would just leave it.......

Tearful update.........................
Just got back from the Vet.....Kitten didn't Make it.  His lungs weren't right. He had an infection when we found him, but thought it was just conjunctivitis ...it was worse than that...sigh

Aw, if only we could blame a silly bird for such heartlessness. :(

I adore kittens! I love to watch a mama nursing and protecting her babies. We've bottle fed before and it sure is tricky business! First they couldn't potty, then they went too much! ♥

How cute and how sad that folks are so inhumane to do that! Thankfully someone like you found him. Hope the feedings are going well and you're getting some sleep! :)

So sorry baby kitty didn't make it Melody, you are so good to always take them in:)
Sorry I won't be linking up for awhile as I'm laid up with a badly broken ankle that will take some time:)

That's a sad ending. But at least he was in a loving home for the last hours of his life. And that's very nice! A lot of people dump their animals on others. It's really sad. We've also had our share. I'm glad he found you for those few hours he had left. You are that kitten's angel on earth!
