I have a new Etsy Site...Apronation....It's a all aprons. Vintage and vintage inspired designs. It's where one will be able to show off her apronature, that is her, apronistics. Are you an elegant entertainer. The table is fully set for a 5 course dinner....only the finest cut crystal and fine china?....Then this is apronistically for you...
This buttercream organza is from the 1930's. It has flocked scallops, as well, as flocking creating the botanical print. The glitter that outlines the flowers and created buds on the foliage is original. Once a bright gold, the glitter has taken on a golden copper patina with age. I embellished with vintage 1940 floral motif buttons. Couldn't you imagine the white lace dress under this apron accented by pearls, a little gold, and of course some diamonds...ringing a bell for the next course.
Or, when you're hosting the next luncheon, you want to be comfortable, but look dressy.....how about those trusty black flats, a pair of black capris, a black tee with a lightweight black shirt, accenting it all with this....
You're having a few friends over for a little get-together? Well, how about setting a little table on the patio with this vintage
1940's Rose Bouquet tablecloth,
filling these with refreshing lemonade
and donning this matching 1940's
apron. The red and white sheer fabric pop with vintage rick-rack and rose appliques created by using cut-outs of roses from a matching tablecloth that was ruined.
Whether you're elegant and formal in style, fun and classic, or informal and whimsical there is an apron that fits you apronistically and shows your apronature!
I hope you stop by my newest shop..Apronation ..soon. And, also visit Brown Gingham Creation or

Hi Melody,
Oh I love all the vintage aprons. I collect them, so this is wonderful to see. Love your blog.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment!

Hi Melody,
Don't feel stupid, I didn't understand it at first either.
A blog ribbon is something that was created by "Magpie Ethel" and then a rendition was done by "Creative Breathing" and so on and so on. I felt left out, so I made me one. Its a ribbon you create that represents your blog.
Those crafters links are on my blog if you wanna' take a look at em'
Hugs,
Meri
Hi friend, I glad you came to visit my etsy shop. I like your aprons. I just wish I kept some that I gave away.I hope the storms didn't really come your way, but we have had several the last few days. We have been lucky so far that they been going around us and it makes you think you are sitting in a pocket.
Our son is now living with us for a while. I am so glad because mom doesn't worry as much. We are dropping down to 32 tonight. I hope no lower because my magnolia tree is so pretty. Enjoy the rest of the week. Your Missouri Friend
Congrats on your new site, my friend!~~~XXOO, Beth
First of all, I love the name you've come up with - Apronation! Cute and clever. Each of these you've shown are darling. I love old aprons. I've got a few of them that I purchased some years back, when my girls were little, for them to play house in. They're so pretty!
Please visit my blog as I'm having my first $100 giveaway.
Now I'm going to check out the Brown Gingham.
LOVE the new shop idea! Good Luck with it!
