Over at Sue's...It's A Very Cherry World.....blog. So, I thought you all could join me for the.......................
over at the Etsy Cottage Style blog. It's a monthly party I co-host, where we get together each month and show off collections that fit into a letter catagory. November's letters are W and X.
For W I thought of vintage Wall art.........................................................
This wall art grouping in my entry hall consists 2 vintage August Wendell Eagle motif trays. Two Coppercraft 1960's eagle convex mirrors. A 1960's milkglass vase and a vintage 1930-40's wall clock with eagle finial and a watercolor of Monticello.
This wall is in my kitchen hall. I always say a blank wall is my canvas. I love taking unexpected items and creating wall art. I have reproduction vintage signs and food stuff labels, a vintage 1940's wooden shopping reminder.

Some of spices and baking items are 1960 vintage and reproduction. The paper strwa in their box are from the 60's. The barn yard pitcher is from the 40's and the other pitcher is a reproduction design of a Colonial pattern from the Met Museum in NY.
And my beloved Water pump in the Kitchen Garden.............................................................................
It's surrounded by black-eyed-susan's, clematis, coneflower, and african daisies. It reminds me of the old pump at my Great-Grandpa's farm.
For X I'll show my newest Fav vintage inspired Xmas house and church.
And, here are some vintage Xmas illustrations for you to use....................................
Well, that's it for this alphabet installment. Do you have some vintage items that fit into the W and X catagory.....come on over and join us at the Etsy Cottage Style Blogspot for the Vintage Alphabet Party all week long! And, stop over at Sue's It's A Very Cherry World for Rednesday to see all the other red hot vintage finds! Now, I'm off to visit the other party-goers.

Wow Sweetie,, what fun these pics are and the memories they bring up inside me.. I must fill you in about the Nativity scenes at my blog from BLUE monday,, they weren't mine I juasty was curious what others were out there in the way of BLUE for BLUE Day... I have my Mom's old set from yes, the early 50's and a few others that have been given to me .. Real simple ones.. My daughter gave me a small one that she thought I needed thats made out of Olive wood.
If mine were all BLUE I would have taken pics of them..
I love the glittery church and the wondeful displays you have on your walls.. Delightful!!!
Sorry, just a tad behind visiting due to a Family issue :0)
May you enjoy a Blessed with Christ week!!! ~~~Hugs Dena
Hi Melody!! Have missed you and wanted to check in on you and make sure you are ok!
My favorite is the water pump. I would like to have something like that for my garden. It looks fabulous in yours. Have a great day.
Thank you for sharing those images, Melody, because I would love to put the one of the children around the Christmas tree on my blog if that's ok! And those little houses are so pretty. I'm so mad at myself for selling my vintage collection!
Happy REDnesday!
Carol
I love your wall grouping. Very cute. The Christmas houses are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the wonderful Christmas images. I love them!
Oh! I just LOVE the water pump!
What a lovely addition to the garden.
Kimberly :-)
Oh! How I loved the old pump surrounded by the black eyed susan's. My grandmother had an old pump like that and the well water tasted great! Even with the tiny frogs that appeared in the bucket now and then! LOL!
Also loved those Xmas houses. Those are among my favorite decorations.
Thanks so much for a trip down memory lane and for sharing your items.
Those vintage cards are just so cute!
