This is Sunny. She was a childs nightlight from the 60's. Her skirt is created by a 1940's hankie that I hand-embroidered. You may recognize the pattern from another design I did.......................
I created an applique out of the daisy pattern for this hotplate. Her waist skirt, decalatauge on her bodice, wings , and accents on her hat and parasol were created from a 1940's hand-crocheted doily.

Hi my friend, How is your dad doing? I know it can be a little frustrating to be at the hospital, but I usually have a project that I am working on. I am trying to catch up on my reading tonight. I share my computer with my son and usually let him have it early in the evening after he gets home. I am going to have an interest experience Wednesday evening. I am picking up my youngest two grandsons and taking Matt home and babysitting Ethan. Matt's mommy is out of town for a few days going to school in Alabama so daddy has to get them up and around. I would love to be a mouse. You have a wonderful day and I will keep you in my prayers. Your Missouri Friend.
Hi! sorry I haven't posted in awhile. As you can understand, getting a business started up can be a 24-7 job at times. I appreciate your posts and good wishes for starting A Royal Nest. My mom and I are having a blast and Saturday turned out better than we could have expected. How is your dad?

Oh btw, don't be afraid of the serger. Mine is hazardous only because I have a very small work area. More than once the fabric of the item I'm working on has gotten bunched up and caught and sliced by the machine. It just makes me feel better to blame the serger. LOL
