Faith and begora some St. Patty treasure

I was getting ready to open my Etsy shop back up...I know it's been off line since New Year....I've been working on a project for a new etsy site, but that's for another post...anyway, I wanted to show a couple new things here before placing them on the site.
This bonnie lass was fun to create.
I coiffed her long curls and topped them with a hat of crocheted and beaded flowers. Her apron is a 1940's hand-crocheted potholder and the little charm she holds says, 'make a wish...'
The skirt is a 1930's hankie that has a daffodil motif.

Then I created an oversized sachet pillow

I used a 1950's green linen hankie with machine-embroidered daisies for the front and the back is vintage green linen material. The cute little dress is a hand-crocheted 1940's potholder. The bodice of the dress holds the sweet scented potpourri. These Spring pretties are perfect for St. Patrick's Dayand are $24.99 each. These will be on my etsy site soon, but if your interested in them send me an e-mail at melody@brownginghamcreations.com

Hi Melody, How is your weather? We hit 52 degrees today. I have been a little under the weather, but I am feeling better. I am having to share my computer so I am a little behind. I really like your doll. she looks so cool with her handerchief skirt. Hope all is well with you. Your Missouri Friend

Kansas was a free state -- but we're close enough to Missouri that we often eat "southern"!!!
