November Rednesday #9

Hi Everyone!
Happy Rednesday!
November already and the beginning of the busy holiday season.

I saw this chair.....oops ....well you can see it is pretty

This is better....it's been hand-painted all over. I'm really not sure it isn't original not redone. Either way it sure is pretty
This is on my to do list,,,to find a chair and attempt to use this as the inspiration.

I also found this cute cake plate lid
I couldn't leave without it. It's Aluminum, of course, with an imprinted band of acorns and oak leaves. The lid handle is a carved acorn made from a piece of oak.

I've also started some Christmas items that'll be available at
Brown Gingham Cabin Shoppe

This a Christmas  music box.
'Brown Gingham Christmas'
She's a 1960's music box angel that plays Silent Night. I embellished
her with a 1950's hankie I hand-embroidered, and flocked wings from a poinsettia flower. Her card is a copy of a vintage.
She's available to decorate your Christmas table.

Today is Rednesday I hope you can join the party!

I love your new plate lid, it's lovely and old fashion looking! Pretty C'mas music box too. Thank you for the great Rednesday party; I'm so happy to be here finally with a tablecloth that has RED in it too!
Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Melody,
I think there is something wrong with your link up. I linked up a post from my Christmas blog and it is not showing up. I tried again and it told me the link already exists but I am still not seeing it on your post. let me know if you get it fixes. i will come back later and try again...

Hugs,
Deb

Good day, Melody! What treasures you found. The chair, though perfect for autumn, has such a gingerbread appeal with its colors and that 'icing' trim, that I think it would be great for Christmas, too.

The cake holder reminds me of the one my mother and grandmother had, but theirs had a black handle. Oh, the sweet memories - pun intended ;)

Your Angel is darling and of course how could I miss that lovely "Brown Gingham" hankie so perfectly embroidered. I hope it finds a loving home soon.

I'm ready for REDnesday, showing off your gorgeous table runner. Thank you for hosting, you do it so well.

Many blessings for the day,

Marianne xo

LOVE the Christmas music box you altered. Adorable! I'm a day late, but at least I had some red in my most recent post to join in.
