Now when Marie Antoinette said that, I would not take umbidge at it. As a matter of fact I'd be askin what kind of cake do you have, but that was a different time.
Went on a vintage hunt lookin for old doorknobs..of course I didn't find any, but I did find this.....................A very young looking Marie Antoinette..with her head still in tact! She is from the 1940s and is in great condition of her age.
She will be on my Etsy site tomorrow for $19.95 If there are any Marie fans out there she is a must for any collection.

Hi Melody, What a great find, I'm sure someone will give her a great home. Thank you for visiting and leaving your sweet comment. Since I'm moving I haven't had time to do muc blogging so I had to repost something yesterday. I'm glad you enjoyed my table.

Hi Melody, You find some of the neatest things when you go looking. All of the test are over and just waiting for the biopsies to come back to make sure there is no infection. I feel like I have been on a whirlwind with everything that is going on with work, the test, John's doctors visited. I think we are home free for about 6 weeks so take a breather. I have managed to do some tea towels to take my mind off of everything. How are you all doing in this crazy weather. I will talk to you later. Have a great week.
Isn't she beautiful?!
Much prettier than a doorknob, anyway!
Thank you for coming by my home!
So nice to meet you--I should have mentioned in my post about the toile wallpaper with the snails and butterflies, that it took 3 months and a few bottles of wine (not all at one time!)*wink!
Blessings to you as you make your home :)

Hi Melody,
Oh you found a treasure. She's so sweet and I know it will not last long on your etsy shoppe.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Always great to see you.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
Hi Melody!
Sorry to be so tardy in getting back to you - between my nieces milestone birthdays, graduations, Father's Day and now my husband is off for two months (YIKES!) the clock is in overdrive and I'm so very behind.
You're such a sweetie to offer to look for a recipe card box for me. Our kitchen is a very pale green that I saw in a Martha Stewart layout and for the life of me, I can't think of what color would be a good accent to it. It needs to warm it up - the green feels very "icy" to me. So for the time being I'm kind of stuck in indecision about which way to go with decorative pieces but I so appreciate your kindness in offering! You're a sweetie pie!
Happy happy Tuesday (I'm so late it's practically Rednesday again!),
Sally
