I'm a little lost

It has been a while since I have last posted, so it seems I have been a little lost in Bloglandia. I have enjoyed wandering through your posts the last few months, but haven't been able to stop and pass the time. Every time I go to put finger to keyboard I haven't been able to put words together for an intelligible post. Really..I have several posts in draft mode on Blogger, but none are publish worthy....sigh.  I have been able to put weekly blog parties up for Etsy Cottage Style HERE
Things have just not been right here at Brown Gingham Cabin...I haven't been able to put it in words. I have just been goin with the flow and it feels like a tidal wave.

The unimaginable and worst has happened...........................................

This is Princess Leah, at the end of Spring she just wasn't herself, by the time we realized it was bad she was at the Vet having her Anal Gland, which had become infected, removed. After several weeks she healed and is back to her feisty self.
Now the worst....................................................
This is Toby

At the beginning of Summer Mom and Dad's Norwegian Elkhound, Toby, developed Congestive Heart Failure. After weeks around the clock care and love..they lost Toby to a heart attack....
Okay I thought I could do this , but seems I can't. I'll have to pop back later. Sorry

Melody, it is good to hear from you again, but so sad to hear of the sadness with the fur babies. Take care! Love, Twyla

I'd love if you could take over Rednesday! I have no primer and you can jump right in. If you comment on my blog with the link I can direct people over to you!

I've seen so many blog posts about pets passing away lately. When I look at my Lizzie I always remember that she's just on loan from God. The last Yorkie I made the mistake of refusing to get another dog for months. I thought I could never bare the loss of a fur baby again. But then Lizzie came into my life. She taught me that there are plenty of other dogs in my future and that the end of one story means the beginning of another.
Hang in there. Things are bound to get better.
big hugs♥,

I am sorry for your loss of Toby. It is very hard to lose a friend like him. They fill so many places in our hearts and when they are gone we are so sad and hurt. You all gave Toby the best life. I always remind myself of that when we lose a beloved pet. That we did our best and gave lots of love. Many animals are not treated well and that consoles me some.
