Now, on with seeing Summer's bloomers!

To complete Summer's garden I added applique daisies, silver and rhinestone daisies, beads were added to the centers of the ZInnia and Daffodil. Sworovski crystal centers were added to the lavender Asters.

Applique daisies were added to her bodice and in her hair is a Sworovski crystal tiara with a single applique daisy. Summer's floral fashion seems ro be a breath of fresh air. She'll make a wonderful pillowtop for my Summertime pillow..the first in a 4 pillow set....she will be available for sale. Now my Brown Gingham Creations are OOAK designs. If you'd like to place an order, please remember, I use vintage textiles so the background  will be different, but Summer can be done on the same colors or done as a custom design. To reach me e-mail me at brownginghamcreations@fuse.net
Since we're thinking gardens I found a great vintage tablerunner. It was an unfinished stamped embroidery peice..........................................................................
I love how the pattern has a colorwash as well as embroidery stitches.

This is the closeup os the wishing well.

When on a table the runner is 36"
I love the little red accents that surround the edges. 'The Old Wishing Well' is available  for $29.99. If you'd like to order please contact me at brownginghamcreations@fuse.net Also, it you'd like to see more creations visit my Shoppes at http://www.brownginghamcreations.com/

Hi Melody, I think summer turned out really well. I have been MIA from my blog. i have been working on wedding presents that I needed to get completed plus blogger was being a little bit of a pain. Hope everybody is doing o.k. We are doing as well as we can in the heat and our high water. I just wish we could get rid of some of it so we could have some of our roads back. It is a shame people have lost because of the powers to be wanted to release water. Well take care and stay cool. I will write you more later. Your Missouri Friend.

Wow! this is exquisite! such beautiful detailed work... it has a heirloom quality to it. You are incredibly talented. Absolutely beautiful work! Thanks for sharing with us and for your sweet suggestions on my shabby-shelf... I like it... hanging the plate along with the ivy is a wonderful idea and I did not even think about pairing them together, so thank you! Have a great week!~Poppy

Your fingers have done exquisite work!
RED AND YELLOW LULLABY

Red is the color of cherries, not cheese;
Yellow the backs of the sweet honeybees;

Red the fair hair of the Derry Town maid;
Yellow the yolk of the brown egg fresh-laid;

Red are the wounds of the sun going down;
Yellow the daisies beloved by the clown;

Rainbows of colors, delighting the eye—
Yellow and scarlet for this lullaby.

Hi there, just wanted to say hi and thanks for the visit I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you and say hi. BTW, you commented on my vintage Argosy trailer. we are taking it out again in 2 weeks for a few days at the beach. We enjoy it so much and I have such fun decorating it for the tours in our rallies.
