Well, Sunday night we found ourselves at Wal-Mart. We almost forgot to look in the camera department..not really expecting to find anything. HAHA....what to my wandering eyes did appear in a spotlighted glow................................................................
A Canon Powershot 490 and......................wait for it..............you won't believe it...............for $60.00... 8D.................I was doin Nascar donuts in the aisle on the little rider/scooter. I got it all programmed....LOL...I would recommend this camera to anyone....if I can program this one, anyone can...it's much easier than the Fugi. Now I just have to insert my CD-Disk they sent in the box and upload pics I've taken using either the SDHD card or the USB cord.......if that's as easy as the programming, I'll be one happy blogger.
The next sonic boom you hear may be here in Ohio blowin my top if I can't finish this programming.
And, reminder to those stopping by.........................................................................................................
It's Rednesday Wednesday over at Sue's It's a Very Cherry World. Those posts are sure to brighten any day all the red. I'm going over there right now come on!

I hope you took a video of yourself doing donuts - I would love to see that! And, yes, having the $60.00 in red qualifies you to post on Rednesday! LOL!
Good for you!!! I am on my second Canon camera....dropped the first one and smashed the lens.....always use the strap now!!! I have the PowerShot SX110, 10X zoom, 9 mega pixels.....and is a breeze to use...once you read the directions!!!! It serves all my needs on blogs, my website, etsy and ebay......and still learning!! hugs...cleo
Good for you!!!! I love to hear a real savings success story!! You are back in business!!
I have an olympus. Present from hubby last year. NO IDEA HOW TO USE IT. My pics always look bad. Maybe I need to go to Walmart!!
Were you really in a scooter?
Just curious. I ride a scooter in big stores too, if that is what you meant.

I have a little digital point and shoot but it has a problem. I dropped it and now all I can do with it is make pictures. I may have to get a new. I will certainly look into this one.
Thanks so much for writing!! I hope you didn't find me too intrusive. I am often interested when "young" peope (you, I'm 41 and I have another friend 51) in scooters.
I have multiple sclerosis. I walk around the house with a cane, but at a store? no way! The boys room is upstairs, and I only try that trick about once a month, so I know they love that!! They only clean it when they know I'm coming!!
And YES! I understand the tingling rear!! I get it too!! I sit most of the day, so by the evening, my but is NUMB!!
I'm glad to meet someone with so much life and love in their lives, dispite their "disabilities". You are a very rare find, and I am proud to say you are my friend!!!!
Keep goin' darlin'! You are awesome!
xxD
Melody, this post couldn't come at a better time for me, because I would really like to get a new camera, but a cheap one! I'll take your recommendation, and go check out one of these. I hope my WalMart has some!
Happy REDnesday!
Carol
I love finding super deals. It feels so good. I hope my camera doesn't read this post and get the same idea as your dead camera. The battery has been draining faster lately.
Thank you again for those fabulous house shots! I'm already so excited about a particular one. I hope things are going well.
Hugs,
Caroline
Hi Melody, I know you have been very busy at your house. I hope your dad is doing better and I don't know why the weather always turns out crappy when we have an emergency. We are in a winter storm warning until 10 AM tomorrow. They are predicting rain turning to snow, but my son is on spring break so that will be nice. The only one needed to go out of the door is me. I still am playing catch up at work. We have several doctor appointments down the road, but we are just taking one day at a time. I like your new camera, I wonder if my pictures would improve if I had one. Take care my friend. Hugs Your Missouri Friend
