I know it's the middle of January, but we had so much fun on our Christmas/New Year Holiday that I thought you might enjoy a peek at two places we got to visit.
Today we'll visit the Taft Museum, located in downtown Cincinnati.
According to the website,'The Baum-Longworth-Sinton-Taft House, a National Historic Landmark built about 1820 for Martin Baum, is the oldest domestic wooden structure in situ locally and is considered one of the finest examples of Federal architecture in the Palladian style in the country.' It is filled with art, period furnishing and decor, and collections of the Taft Family. For more info about the Taft Museum of Art click this link
From Nov. 5, 2010 to Jan. 9, 2011 they hold an Antique Christmas Exhibition. I'll be quiet know. The pictures speak for themselves...................................................................................................................
The Cafe.
If you enlarge, you'll see my fav 1940-50
metal Scotch Plaid Picnic Basket as a small toy.
How cool is that!
I know there are a lot of pics, but it is worth to Click pics to enlarge for a better view.
Thursday I'll have another view of the museum. Today I'm joining Sue at It's a Very Cherry World for Rednesday Wednesday

What a great treat!!! I especially loved the Noah's Ark collection. You took such great pictures Melody...the antique Christmas ornaments are beautiful too.

Melody, these photos are breathtaking! I love the little fences around the trees. I can see why you took so many photos, and I'm glad you shared all of them with us!
Hi Melody!
I've been meaning to email you ever since your post re your Etsy name and add something - When I spoke about my situation, I neglected to say that the seller who had a similar name to mine, did not sell anything remotely like what I sold, unlike your situation where the Name Stealing Weasels, sell the same kind of merchandise. I'm so sorry that I neglected to comment on that and commiserate with you. Sending you big hugs.
Thanks so much for sharing your vacation with us, it looks like so much fun!
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
I would have taken alot of pictures too! I love all of those little houses, and all of the vintage Christmas decorations. I think I would have spent hours there!
Happy REDnesday!
Carol
Thanks for mentioning the pics. I was afraid there were way too many and I am by no means a photographer, so I just have an inexpensive Fugi digital camera, the lighting was great you couldn't take a bad pic, but this place is awesome and there was soooo much see......LOL it took us almost 4 hrs. to go around.
