Hello Everyone!
Sorry I missed last Weeks Rednesday
My Dad was in the hospital..he's doing fine...and I got new med for my achin back. I really works well, but it causes blurry vision..sigh...so typing is very hard and reading posts are almost impossible.
I really miss you all.
I am going to post the party and hope you all have a red letter day!

Rednesday

Okay, I know it's late, but  this tumble has taken on a life of it's own. The meds of last week finally made me sick, so this week began a new one. I keep falling asleep between things I need to get done and to my hurtful pride I cannot sit long enough to type a sentence 8[ !  So, I am going to put up Rednesday Wednesday which I would never miss.

 I thought I'd have a nice post to share since I had planned to go to the antique mall, but I could only walk one aisle and gave up.          I hope you all can join in, have fun, and visit each other. I'll be in the background watching the fun, but again I can't sit long enough to send a comment.....sigh.

Oh my achin...b....behind

What a dip I am!! I had a terrific Sunday....all day in the ER 8/

The day started out fine I was going to walk down the driveway to my house and start a pork roast in the crock pot and head to the Library, then Jim was gonna take me to the Antique Mall to look around. I hadn't gotten far when my one foot slipped,,,almost recovered with Jim's help, but nooooo, of course not my knee dislocated! Nothing unusual I have a floating knee cap. Got back into Mom and Dad's to change into fry clothes, but within about 15 minutes I wasn't able to do more than hobble...ooooooo..I was sooo mad. I was rteally afrain I'd busted my hip, but no..thanks goodness.

just pulled muscles, strained knee, and pinched sciatica. sigh.

Got  my trusty old cane and plenty of meds..hehe..just woke up again....I got way too mush I need to so for this silliness. sigh.

I try to stay up to to type this, but it's not working so good.

I think I';m gonna put Rednesday up a little early. 

I hope you all can come by say hi...keep me company....I'll be checkin in, butnot sure i'll be able to attend my own party...or answer back right away....erg...I can't even type right my fingers want to do their own thing. 
On a brighter note it is raining here and the ice is melting!!!!
it's gonna be in the 70's Thurs. sob...you watch I'm not gonna be able to get up and out...sigh. I gotta go I can't sit no more.....oh I am such a clutz!

Did you notice the new banner for Rednesday? I used a vintage card with carnations for this months theme. It's pretty, but there is a reason why I chose it.....Carnation is the Flower of the Month.

1881 seed catalog? Carnations are one of the oldest cultivated flowers dating back over 2000 years. The botanical name, Dianthus,
after the goddess of love Diana, means flower of the god's or flower of love. Roman's used carnations in homes to keep evil away. Roman's and Greeks used laurel and carnations in crowns for gladiator and Olympic winners. It's said that during Christ's walk to Calvary with the cross, wherever Mary's tears fell pink carnations sprouted and bloomed. 

The carnation is said to represent love, pride, beauty, distinction, fascination,and loyalty. 
The next time you see a carnation and think it's just ho-hum.....
think again. Think outside of the box 8)
